Mout Saint-Pierre - at the south of Maastricht - is a marvellous piece of nature. Thanks to the microclimate it's always a few degrees warmer than normal. A welcome bonus on your trip through the region of Lanaye and Visé.
Signposting: wooden post with a clear blue board with a white edge and red arrow with the words 'réserves naturelles'.
Paths: unmetalled roads that are sometimes quite steep. In case of rain, make sure to keep your children close to you. Animals are not allowed, even on a leash.
Starting point: the bridge on the Albert Canal in Lanaye. You can park your car on the little parking close to the bridge.
Remark: Make sure to bring with you enough food and beverages, you will not find pubs or drinking-houses on the circuit.
