    Rue Marcel de Brogniez 27A
    4690 EBEN-EMAEL (BASSENGE)Belgium

  • MAPS: Google Maps

The Geer, little river streaming in between the provinces of Limburg and Liège, does not take into account the linguistic border between Flanders and Wallonia. On the nearby Montagne Saint-Pierre we can find an amazing wealth of animal and plant life. This walk will also take you past places that, now some sixty years ago, played a key role in the invasion of Belgium by the Germans troops.

Starting point: the parking in front of the fort of Eben-Emael. Signposting of this walk is incomplete, so take a map with you.
