One of the most beautiful jewels in Wallonia's crown
Go through the gate and follow the path which will take you to the French-style castle dating from 1842.
The castle is spread out in a series of rooms, some small, others more majestic, which form a harmonious and peaceful whole.
The castle can receive up to 400 people. The great salon, the dining room and the hall can be set up for meals.
The castle is only accessible when booked in advance.
Contact the estate to organise dinners, receptions, meetings, weddings and filming there.
Spend an afternoon in the Solvay Estate park, and why not have a dream reception at the castle?
A spot of history
The Marquis of Béthune built the castle in around 1840 in the style of Louis XII and François I. At the end of the 19th century, the estate was purchased by chemist and soda tycoon Ernest Solvay. Today it belongs to the region of Wallonia.
Accessibility and location
The castle's interior is not open to the public but the estate is the perfect place to relax and go for a walk.
The park is open all year round: winter: 8am to 6pm and summer: 8am to 9pm.
