Thuin, the capital of Thudinie, is a commune situated in the province of Hainaut. Come and discover the best bits of the town bordering the Sambre river.

A pleasant verdant setting at the confluence of the Sambre river and the Biesmelle river, Thuin depicts the profile of a semi-rural commune.

A warm tourist welcome

The Thuin tourist office welcomes you with a smile and will help you through each step of your trip, from organising day trips, to guided tours, brochures of the region, information about marked-out walking paths and mountain bike trails.

You can also stop by the souvenir shop to pick up gifts and regional produce to tantalize your taste buds with.

UNESCO World Heritage

The Thuin Belfry is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Saint-Roch folkloric march (on 3 May) is also inscribed on the UNESCO intangible cultural heritage list.

Ragnies is part of the Most Beautiful Villages on Wallonia. And, let's not forget the Aulne Abbey site, the historical centre with its Hanging Gardens, the Distillery of Biercée...let the charm of Thuin and Val du Sambre run away with you.
