Le Falstaff is Brussels’ most typical cafe. Its Art Nouveau-Deco décor will plunge you into the authentic world of the bars of yesteryear.
Located 300 metres from the Grand Place in Brussels, just opposite the Bourse, Le Falstaff welcomes you in an Art Nouveau - Art Deco setting! For holding your events, seminars, business lunches, family meals or just for your own pleasure, Le Falstaff and its staff provide you with a typical and sophisticated Belgian bar.
A bit of historyThe name Falstaff comes from Sir John Falstaff, diplomat and Captain of the English Marines. He had royal blood and in London he had the reputation for drinking, eating and gambling a little bit too much. A portrait of Falstaff has pride of place at the back of the main room in the last stained-glass window, which is a mixture of the Flemish Brueghelian style and its scenes and Art Nouveau floral motifs.
When you fancy a Belgian dish, head straight for the Art Déco surroundings and an atmosphere of old-fashioned bars provided by le Falstaff.
