At the Salm Tourist Office, a discovery trail of geology, history and folklore of Salm awaits you.
This museum opens its doors to you in the commune of Vielsalm, at the heart of the Belgian Ardennes.
After an informative film, you will journey along the geological and mining galleries dedicated to the underground world of Salm. There, you will discover an animated scale model, olden day tools, photos and documents tracing the skills of quarry workers, miners and artisans from the region. Then, you will plunge into a wonderful world of legends, such as the Macralles from the Salm valley.
At the Salm Tourist Office, children can also discover a trail, which has been specially created with them in mind. An educational trail adapted for kids is available in French, Dutch, English and German.
