In the heart of the Vieux Namur (Old Namur) neighbourhood, the Félicien Rops Provincial Museum presents all aspects of the 19th century Belgian artist's work.
Visits and activitiesThe museum presents the permanent exhibition's pieces through an itinerary and scenography that offers a dynamic and complete discovery of Félicien Rop's work.
The main themes are exhibited (women, love, desire and death) tracing his lifework from his debut as a caricaturist in Brussels, to the peak of his career in Paris.
What's more, the museum offers a wide range of services, such as guided tours, temporary exhibitions and courses, audio guides, publications about the artist and his century, a documentation centre and a cinema club for art films.

The museum is closed on Mondays, on 24, 25, 31 December and 1 January.
Guided visits last about one hour.
