On 19 June 2015, discover the new Tropical Lagoon aquarium and the brand new Sharks and Coral Reefs room exhibit at the Aquarium-Museum.

During the evening opening (5pm - 9pm), the Sharks and Coral Reefs room presents its new layout and, most of all, its new Tropical Lagoon aquarium, 2 nano-aquariums and the dedicated sharks space. It's a great idea for your next family outing.

Liège Aquarium-Museum


Treat yourself to a wonderful journey through the nautical and animal worlds. Discover fish from around the world and the riches of the animal kingdom.

This scientific and tourism centre, dedicated to the aquatic world and the biodiversity of animals, is situated on the Quai Édouard Van Beneden, only 7 minutes from the Liège-Guillemins TGV station.


The Aquarium's some 50 tanks house close to 2500 fish. Discover the legendary piranhas, clown fish in their anemones, blind cavedwelling fish, stonefish, etc. Not forgetting the blacktip reef sharks or the baby dogfish. Plunge yourself into the oceans, seas, lakes and rivers of the world.

In the museum you will discover the riches and beauty of the animal kingdom.
20000 specimens preserved, stuffed or skeletons: from the smallest flea to the largest whale, including an anaconda, spiders, shells, a stuffed bear or even the chimpanzee and other primates.

During your visit, why not taste La Requine, the Aquarium-Museum's delicious beer.
