Situated in Koekelberg, the National Basilica of the Sacred-Heart allows you to discover an exceptional panoramic view of Brussels, 2 museums and various exhibitions. This religious Art-Deco style monument is one of the 5 largest churches in the world.
Panoramic views and museums
Thanks to the lift, you can rise up to a height of 52.80 metres. Just under the basilica dome, an outdoor gallery let's you discover an incomparable view of Brussels. You can also discover the Modern Religious Art Museum, which contains some 250 paintings and sculptures from the contemporary art collection of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Bruges.
A visit to the Black Sisters Museum will unveil a rich collection of paintings, furniture, lace and art objects belonging to this religious community.
Prepare your visit
Panoramic view: Summer: 9am - 5pm. Last entry: 4.30pm. Winter: 10am - 4pm. Last entry: 3.30pm.
Black Sisters Museum: Every Wednesday from 2-4pm.
Modern Religious Art Museum: Thursday, Friday and Sunday 2-4pm.
Group visits on request.
Individual visitors: €5/pp
Groups: €4/pp for more than 10 people
