Come and visit the world's first ever museum of capitalism. Situated in the centre of Namur, this space aimed at promoting citizenship, invites you to reflect on this unique economic system.

This temporary exhibition in Namur, to which has a young team behind it, is open until the 28th of June, and should be coming to Brussels in 2015.

The plan is that the museum eventually becomes a permanent fixture.

What is capitalism?

To answer this question, one must understand the origins, boundaries and hopes of capitalism, and to present acceptable alternatives that this exhibition has created.

The Museum of Capitalism has managed to make the mechanisms of the capitalist economic system popular to arouse reflection and critique on the part of the visitor towards the system. A genuine citizen-based environment.

The exhibition is interactive. Day-to-day objects, videos, audio media, texts, stories, animations and explanatory signs (in French) will arouse your curiosity. When leaving the museum, each visitor will have acquired the necessary tools to assert himself in his citizenship.

Entry is free.

Guided visits available on request.

Namur's Museum of Capitalism enlightens you on the system to which you are a part on a daily basis!
