The Lion Hamlet is located at the heart of the Waterloo battlefield where, on 15 June 1815, French and British troops clashed.

This historical site is less than 20 km from Brussels, in the province of Walloon Brabant. It lies at the bottom of the lion's mound, the major monument commemorating the battle of Waterloo.

The schedules can be adapted in the evenings.

3 restaurants welcome you: the Bivouac de l'Empereur, the Cambronne and the Wellington Café. They offer traditional meals in a warm setting with terraces.

Several specialised boutiques offer a large choice of articles on Waterloo and Napoleon.
