New interpretation centre and museum about our country's military history from 1830 to the present day.
Located only a few kilometres from the centre of Liège, this brand new museum is located on the glacis of Boncelles fort and showcases the military heritage of the two World Wars.
The exhibition rooms are dedicated to the Great War, but also to the Second World War and the Battle of the Bulge during the winter of 1944. The didactic exhibition will unveil the history of Boncelles fort during both conflicts.
Throughout your visit, you will discover numerous unique pieces and period equipment from private collections.
Flags, Belgian and German uniforms, weapons, munitions, shells, military maps, photographic documents, as well as an outdoor itinerary that groups together several armoured vehicles.
An original converted cafeteria, with old furniture from officers' messes and seats from armoured vehicles will let you relax after your visit and share your favourite bits and memories with the museum curator, a real enthusiast.
