Discover this authentic coal mine in the green heart of the Euregio, near the land of Dalhem-Blegny. A real gem of the Walloon industrial heritage.
Blegny-Mine is one of the 4 major coal mines in Wallonia, a recognised UNESCO world heritage site.
Visit the underground galleries (-30 et -60 metres) through the mines, with demos of how the machinery is used and how coal is washed and sorted.Other possible visits: Mine Museum and/or train trip and/or slag heap habitat.
Complementary activities: playgrounds, golf-mine, park with ponds, aviaries and animals and an artistic route "tree circuit".

Blegny-Mine opening times:
Weekends and public holidays from 01/03 to 30/11/15.
Every day from 07/04 to 05/09/15.
Carnival holidays and All Saints, shorter opening hours.
Guided visits in French:
11 am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm, and also 2:30pm on Sundays and public holidays.
From 05/07 to 23/08: additional visits at 12:30pm, 2:30pm and 4:30 pm.
Guided visits in Dutch:
11:30pm, 2pm and 4pm (last departure)
