20 minutes south of Brussels, in the magnificent Solvay Park, the Château de la Hulpe Farm houses the Folon Foundation.
Created and designed by Jean-Michel Folon, the Foundation displays forty years of creations in a very original and lively setting designed by the Belgian artist himself.
Folon opens up his life story
Through the pages you'll discover the many facets of his art and his world with over 500 works on display: watercolours, engravings, silk-screen printings, posters, stained-glass, and even sculptures and original objects.
An interactive path brought to life with music, films and special effects: you will open a huge book and enter the head of the blue man to get lost in a game of mirrors.
The secrets of the artist's workshop will be revealed. You'll end your journey under a myriad of stars!
After the visit
Take a walk in the 220 hectares of greenery on the Solvay estate, with its varied landscapes surrounded by ponds and inhabited by remarkable flora and fauna.
Or take a moment to relax together, contemplating the vastness of the park from the terrace of the Blue Man Tavern.
