This festival, in Brussels from 25 to 26 October 2013, promises real music which is full of emotion and brings together excellent musicians.

The 13th Brussels Boogie Woogie Festival will take place in Woluwé-Saint-Pierre' Cultural Centre from 8:30pm.

This event showcases not only a style of music, but also a piece of history as boogie woogie forms the roots of contemporary music.

A brief overview of the programme

The festival programme presents you with a great array of brilliant pianists, including Stephanie Trick, an incredibly talented young American pianist.

The theme for Friday evening will be "Vive la France", with three exceptional French pianists, Fabrice Eulry, Philippe Lejeune and Jean-Paul Amouroux.

Saturday will see a performance from young Swiss piano virtuoso Chris Conz and Renaud Patigny, pianist and organiser of the event with eight musicians from his Zanzibar orchestra.

Evenings will end with final jams bringing together all the artists from the festival. Not forgetting acrobatic boogie woogie demonstrations.

Boogie woogie lovers and new converts will be bewitched by the enchanting notes and unbridled rhythms that the Brussels Boogie Woogie Festival has in store.
