Come and taste local specialities and high-quality products thanks to the region's artisan bakers! In Brussels in September 2014!

Your baker has got some surprises up his sleeve for you!

And, not only will he treat you to some of these surprises, he will also give you the chance to take part in a huge competition!

And, that's not all! 5x1 year of FREE bread and pastries and 250 passes for 2 to all the theme parks in Wallonia are up for grabs!   Rip off the "concours" (competition) label on your bread bag and stick 3 of them onto the entry ballot available from your master baker/patissier or on the website below.

The more bread you buy, the more labels you will obtain, means the more chance you'll have of winning!

The bakers and patissiers will also be handing out tasters, enabling you to discover or rediscover their local specialities and high-quality produce. They will also be offering a 2014 calendar illustrated with simple, original bread-based recipes, for you to make all year round!

Product quality is of the utmost importance!

A charter is a guarantee of quality

A charter established by the Federation of bakers ensures that each artisan in Wallonia commits to:

  • Selecting their own ingredients,
  • Using traditional local recipes,
  • Ensuring perfect hygiene, adhering to AFSCA's rules,
  • Listening to, informing, advising and serving customers with a smile!

Around 1402 establishments meet these criteria today!

So, get to your favourite bakery... you're in for a treat!
