International Hunting and Nature Days in Saint-Hubert
Experience a 40 year old tradition: a fantastic historic procession evoking the history of the city's saint. In Saint-Hubert on 06 and 07/09/14!
This 54th edition, which takes place throughout the weekend, offers many activities enabling you to discover the history of the town and the legend of Saint Hubert, patron saint of hunters and protector of nature.
Experience the town's history since its conversion, the foundation of the abbey, pilgrimage...
Saturday from 8am at Parc Dussart: 28th International Clubshow - Saint-Hubert Belgian dog club.
11am-6pm at Place de l'Abbaye: Crafts market with musical entertainment and projection of films centred on hunting and nature.
6pm: at the Basilica: Mass with participation from Jagdhornbläserkreis Hubertus Heidelberg horn ensemble.
6.30pm at the Cour du Palaid Abbatial: Frances Ripailles - a dinner of game and a festive atmosphere.
From 8.15pm at Place de l'Abbaye: Historical show "Saint-Hubert, history and legend" with a concert from Jagdhornbläserkreis Hubertus Heidelberg.
Sunday from 10am at Place de l'Abbaye: Concert by the Royal Forêt Saint-Hubert and the Luxembourg Saint-Hubert horn ensembles.
11am-6pm at Place de l'Abbaye and Cour du Palais Abbatial: Crafts Market and Frances Ripailles!
11am at the Basilica: Solemn High Mass by the Royal Forêt Saint-Hubert and the Jagdhornbläserkreis Hubertus Heidelberg horn ensembles, with a blessing of animals and distribution of bread, followed by a concert from Jagdhornbläserkreis Hubertus Heidelberg horn ensemble.
2:30pm at Place de l'Abbaye: Historical show "Saint-Hubert, history and legend", accompanied by the Royal Forêt Saint-Hubert horn ensemble!
And to close the festivities at Place de l'Abbaye: a final concert of the Royal Forêt Saint-Hubert and Luxembourg Saint-Hubert horn ensembles.
