Take part in this initiative that aims to improve the accessibility of public places and urban spaces for people with reduced mobility. In Brussels 15/10/13.

On the day of Libercity, groups of 5 students will walk through different neighbourhoods of the Brussels-Capital region:

  • Anderlecht - Midi - Bois de la Cambre,
  • Botanique - Ilot Sacré - Sablon,
  • Parc du Cinquantenaire- Plateau du Heysel- Porte de Namur,
  • Quartier Louise- Quartier Royal - Sainte Catherine et Bourse.

The aim is to measure, photograph, comment... on the public spaces they visit to check how accessible they are.

Why don't you come along and discover Libercity, you'll see that it's possible to visit Brussels in a different way!

A person with reduced mobility is a tourist like any other.

A tour guide (paper and online) is already made specially for them (called Bruxelles pour tous - Brussels for all), let's make an effort to complete it and allow them to appreciate the multitude of cultural activities and pastimes in Brussels.

Last but not least, Libercity is a day for raising awareness among Brussels students aged 18-25 of the difficulties facing persons with reduced mobility.
