Liège Cité de Noël - Liège, City of Christmas

Liège, Cité de Noël is a village with four themed houses: Gruyere Chalet, Ardennes House, Pèket House and le Chalet "Au pied des pistes" (House at the foot of the slopes).

A sledging slope, an ice-skating rink and a collection of Christmas baubles to admire.

Not forgetting the church, the puppet nativity, the town hall and the village council, who are in charge of the activities!

For a few years now the Christmas village has exhibited a collection of hand-painted Christmas baubles which show a series of well-known Walloon characters: Tchantchès, Nanesse, Marcatchou, the miner, the Gilles of Binche, the Cotiresse, the famous little airplane of the place Saint Lambert...

This year, the collection grows to include new extraordinary pieces: Saint Nicholas and his donkey, The Chin-Chin from the Ducasse in Mons, the Harlequin of Binche...
