Admire never before seen works of the artist, lost during the Second World War and today resurrected! In Brussels from 22/02 to 14/09/14!

This Herculean task, which has been destroyed:

According to the museum, 26 works of arts have undoubtedly disappeared or have been destroyed, mainly due to fires or during an explosion during the Second World War. The majority of these pieces have been missing for over 70 years, but teams have successfully been able to revive them and bring them back to their original state, thanks to intensive research on their composition, style and colours.

At the same time, and as the museum celebrates its 15th anniversary, the first catalogue of the museum's surrealist collection is also published, which is titled:

    "Rediscovery of surrealism"

The preparation of this exhibition has taken 7 years! It is simply unmissable for all you art aficionados. The house in which the museum sits, is one of the seven places where the artist, who passed away in 1967, stayed in Brussels. The exhibition will be on the bottom floor of the building.
