Discover this exhibition dedicated to John Bulteel at the Musée de la Rubanerie Cominoise, from 12/09/14 to 04/10/14.

The exhibition presents charcoal pieces by john Bulteel, which give reference to the life of soldiers camped in the trenches during the First World War.

The blackness of the charcoal truly reflects the dramatic atmosphere that reigned in the trenches during the Great War.

The images show the tension of soldiers before an offensive, as well as the frenzy of combat and finally, the desolation.

John Bulteel
, who draws, paints and sculpts, is an artist who lives in Comines. This exhibition is an homage to his Grandfathers who fought in the war.
