    Admire the work of 30 contemporary Greek artists which centres on the impact of the economic crisis on their country. In Brussels, from 26/03 to 03/08/14.

    Their pieces transcend the current political and economic situation and give a first hand look at what is happening in Greece today.

    The works put the negative effects of the crisis into pictures, but also show the opportunities that a crisis offer to reinvent the country.

    • Guerrilla Optimists, Michalis G. Kallimopoulos and Dionisis Kavallieratos,
    • Nicolas Kozakis & Raoul Vaneigem, Nikos Navridis and Angelos Papadimitriou,
    • Lina Theodorou, Panos Tsagaris, Kostas Tsolis and Dimitris Tsoumplekas,
    • Chrisa Valsamaki, Kostis Velonis, Eirini Vourloumis, Zafos Xagoraris and Yorgos Zois.


    BOZAR and Atelier Bouwmeester also welcome a satellite project: Depression Era - a group of painters, artists, researchers, journalists and commissioners trained in 2012 who represent the crisis through images and texts.

    The exhibition is being held at Atelier Bouwmeester, opposite the Centre for Fine Arts.


    It will be the group's first international event outside of Greece!
